Privacy policy
This page explains clearly and briefly what we do with the data generated when you use Ahorro en Energía.
1. Who is responsible
The data controller is the operator of the comparator (contact details available on request at the support email shown at the end).
2. What data we collect
- The PDF bill you upload: it is processed instantly to extract consumption, power and CUPS data. It is not stored.
- Data extracted from the PDF (account holder name, CUPS, address, amounts, consumption, power): kept linked to your query for auditing and to send you the proposal if you request it.
- Contact details you give us (name, email, phone, preferred channel): stored only when you fill in the "Get your proposal" form, to send you the personalised offer.
- Technical data: IP and user-agent, for auditing and abuse prevention.
3. What we use it for
- To calculate your saving and the best tariff on the market.
- To send you the personalised proposal through the channel you choose (email, WhatsApp or phone).
- To improve the service (aggregated statistics, without identifying you).
4. Who we share it with
To calculate the tariffs we use an external comparison service ( Soluciones Vivivan), to which the data extracted from your bill is sent (without your name/contact if you have not provided it). We do not pass your data to electricity suppliers until you expressly ask to receive the proposal.
5. How long we keep it
- The bill PDF: discarded when the request finishes, it is not kept.
- Extracted and contact data: up to 24 months from the last interaction, unless legally required otherwise.
6. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability at any time by writing to us. We will reply within one month.
7. Cookies
We use different types of cookies. Technical or necessary cookies (to remember the language, keep the session and store your cookie choice) are always used, because the site does not work without them, and do not require consent. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) measure anonymously how the site is used so we can improve it. Advertising cookies (Google Ads) let us measure the effectiveness of our ads and show relevant advertising. Analytics and advertising cookies are only enabled if you accept them in the cookie notice: we use Google's consent mode, so nothing is installed until you accept. You can reject them and the site works the same. These services are provided by Google LLC and may involve international data transfers with the corresponding legal safeguards. To change your choice at any time, clear this site's cookies in your browser and the notice will appear again.
